Airplane: Vienna Airport provides connections from most countries in and outside Europe. Many airlines transport lots of tourists daily from all around the world to the Austrian capital. Among the cheapest companies travelling to Vienna are, for example, Easy Jet and Vueling but also others such as British Airways or Lufthansa include Vienna as a destination. Another way to travel is by the Irish airline Ryanair, to Bratislava (Slovakia), and from there take a direct train journey to Vienna for just an hour. To get from the airport to the centre of Vienna, a more easy, convenient and fast option is to go by taxi. It costs between 25 € and 30 € (or a little more).

Another comfortable option could be using the train, namely the City Airport Train Cat that will take you to the centre for 11 €. More information: https://www.cityairporttrain.com

Schnellbahn Wien - S7 is another possibility you have to get to the centre at 4.40 €.

Train: By train you can easily travel to Vienna through Austria, since there are also direct connections to the capital from Germany, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, France, Slovakia, Croatia and Serbia. To do this you can travel from any of the three train stations in Vienna which are Hauptbahnhof, Bahnhof Wien Meidling and Wien Westbahnhof.

Bus: Other connections to Europe from Vienna are available via the bus line Eurolines. In many cases it is the cheapest way to travel but not advisable for long journeys, as the journey takes a long time and will no doubt be tiring.

Car: Travelling by car can come in very handy, especially when you have to walk through more cities with luggage. With no problems you can come to Vienna and then travel across Austria by car from the different European motorways.
